Sights & Style: Washington D.C., Too

Last Friday (in Washington D.C.) started out gray and cool.  Glad I layered!

 Blanket Cape: Anne Klein
Dress: Vintage (Etsy)
Black Jeans: L.L. Bean Signature
Shoes: Zara
Cardigan: BCBGeneration
Sunnies: Ray Ban
Belt: Banana Republic
Scarf: Old Navy
Handbag: Kate Spade (gifted)
Pendant: Vintage Tiffany (Etsy)

As you can see, we hit several of the Smithsonian museums, and even enjoyed breakfast in China Town.  And, yes, we stood in line to see the First Ladies' Dresses/Gowns exhibit (which I briefly saw some years ago when our two sons (then, quite young) were with us).

Look at this lovely dress (displayed above and to the side of me)! It belonged to former First Lady Grace Coolidge. Several other dresses of hers were on display at the museum. I adore her sense of style, and would don that dress (and those shoes) in a heartbeat!

Later in the day, we headed over to Dupont Circle for a spot of exploring; then, dinner.  I was so comfortable in this ensemble, I decided not to even change for our dinner date. Turned out to be the perfect day to eve outfit!

Joy & peace, T.
