Within the professional realm, I'm very goal-oriented. Quite frankly, I'm driven. Truly, it's an on-the-job essential that keeps me on track.
I used to be more so in my "off the clock" hours, too. More lately, though, I'm relaxing into what I feel most compelled to do (in the time that's "mine"); versus what I think I should do...
My current (personal) goals include getting back to yoga class, re-establishing my morning journal-writing routine and reading the stack of magazines that's currently occupying my family room end table. Interestingly, what it appears I feel most "driven" to do (right now) is feed my body, mind and spirit. Those are goals that are not only compassionate; they are worthwhile!
