Product Feature: Lindi Skin Products

The folks at Lipton Publicity recently invited me to try a few full-sized products from Lindi Skin--specifically their Face Serum (lavender), Eye Hydrator and Lip Balm.  After doing a bit of research on Lindi Skin, I was eager to indulge in this latest endeavor.  You see, Lindi Skin (established in 2003) came into being after CEO and founder, Lindy Snider, witnessed several friends and family members suffering from the toll that chemotherapy cancer treatments took on their skin.

Even though I don't have cancer or compromised skin issues, I am a long-time lover of skincare products that are gentle; yet effective.  Late this past November, I began using the Lindi Skin products featured below; switching them out with the items I normally use.  In fact, I'm still enjoying tthese Lindi Skin products at the writing of this blog post!

Lindi Face Serum (Lavender)

Use of a facial serum is a MUST for me, and has been for some time now. This product's scent is heavenly (I ADORE lavender)!  Lindi Face Serum also lived up to its promise of being both "non-oily" and able to "glide on silky smooth."  I used the face serum on my neck, under my eyes and on my forehead twice a day, and these areas felt extremely soft to the touch all day long.  Despite having somewhat sensitive skin, I had no adverse side effects whatsoever.

Lindi Eye Hydrator

For some time now, I've used an eye hydration product twice a day--without fail. The gel shown above was applied to the areas around my eye each morning and evening--post washing my face and using my daily or nightly moisturizer (dependent on when I'm using it--smile).  Lindi Eye Hydrator did a beautiful job keeping the skin around my eyes moisturized.  And, like the Lindi Face Serum, I had no adverse reactions to it, either.

Lindi Lip Balm

I always have some sort of hydration on my lips--even when I'm sleeping.  Lindi Lip Balm had tremendous staying power and kept my lips fabulously soft.

What I totally fell in love with, however, is the use of this product to soften my cuticles.  Prior to this, I had already been using a product on my cuticles (It's rubbed in nightly after bath time and before I go to bed).  Lindi Lip Balm beat out my other cuticle softener-BIG time.  In fact, I'm planning to make Lindi Lip Balm my new "go to" for cuticle softening from this point forward.

Tickled Pink Woman readers can enjoy free shipping and 25% off all Lindi Skin products by using code BLOG25 (for use at lindiskin.com) through December 31, 2015. Lindi Skin will also make a donation to the American Cancer Society's "Look Good, Feel Better" program for every purchase made through this date.

Joy & grace! T.

Product Love: The Emjoi Micro-Nail...

The folks at Lipton Publicity recently sent me a courtesy sample of the Emjoi Micro-Nail to test and feature on the blog.  This past summer, I reviewed the Emjoi Micro-Pedi and adored it.  At the time I agreed to try the Micro-Nail, I couldn't possibly imagine I'd like it nearly as much as the Micro-Pedi. Then, I tried it...

This woman indulges in a home mani weekly--with several nail polish changes taking place throughout the week.  I always thought my nails looked pretty good once they'd been polished.  Testing this product, though, made me realize my nails should look good even without polish.  Unfortunately, this wasn't the case.  The truth is my bare fingernails were discolored, ridged, dull and even cracked in places (Yes, the photo above was taken before I used the Emjoi Micro-Nail).

The Micro-Nail was super-easy to assemble and use.  After cutting my nails and washing/drying my hands, I used one of the two Micro-Smooth Rollers (gray) to address my nails' imperfections.

Without applying pressure, I let the roller glide over each nail for a few seconds.  The photo below was taken immediately afterwards...

Next I switched out the gray roller for one of the two Micro-Shine Rollers (white).  Thereafter, I repeated the process...

The photo directly above displays my nails immediately after using the Emjoi Micro-Nail.  Post use, my nails were noticeably smoother, shinier and even less discolored.  They felt great to the touch, too (gone was the roughness!).

MY ASSESSMENT: My nails look MUCH better both with and without polish following my very first use of the Emjoi Micro-Nail.  What's truly fascinating is that the polish seemed to glide on more smoothly and evenly after using the Micro-Nail. Amazingly, they even felt smoother and still looked shiny a couple of days later when I removed the old polish.

I first tried out my Emjoi Micro-Nail last week.  Since then, I've used it three times (every time I've changed polish colors).  Given that it appears to be improving the condition of my nails each time I use it, it's now going to be a permanent part of my nail care regimen.

The Emjoi Micro-Nail is sold at the Emjoi website and through QVC (.com).  In my opinion, it would make the perfect gift for you or someone you know (man or woman!).

Joy & hugs, T.
