Happy July 4th (to those in the United States, "Happy
Independence Day")! Thought I’d share a few pics from my home flower garden. Decidedly, there is a patriotic theme throughout--making it Independence Day appropriate! To view a few ways I decorated indoors for this special holiday, check out this past post.
Challenging
myself to come up with themes (for decorating and dressing) is not only
fun—it’s a great way to exercise my creativity muscles a bit more. Do you find this to be true as well?
Speaking of what I'll wear... I'm thinking of donning this for a dinner date out with Mark this evening in Michigan. It's my favorite maxi dress paired with a sleeveless jean jacket I bought for my recent trip to New England. It may be too cool (outdoors) for short sleeves, though (sigh). Nevertheless, what do you think? I could pair this outfit with heels or sandals... Maybe don a straw hat, too?
